Biography


Rachel R.E Coombe (Known as Rachel C)

Born in Cardiff, Wales on 11 October

Height- 5'6 and a half.

Studied preforming dance, acting, stage combat, improvisation and mime at Pollyanna Training Theatre.

Awarded a BTEC in Performing arts at Epping Forest College, Essex, where she wrote her first musical, and started writing and performing poetry.

Studied Acting and audition technique at The Harris School of drama where she was picked for various    commercials, music videos and a role a 'Tonicha' in 'Eastenders' for the BBC, and starred with Tina Turner in Targets 'Star power' commercial.

Rachel's worked as a dresser and  wardrobe assistant on shows in London's West End including 'The Lord of The Rings' at Theatre Royal Drury lane. She worked as wardrobe mistress and costume designer on Frank Scantori's Zombie indie 'Dead Crazy', and studied stage and TV makeup at 'The Makeup Centre, Hoxton.

She has completed two poetry collections 'Shadow and Light' and 'Little Nothings' A collection of short stories 'Tales from the Rusty Halo', and scripts for TV series 'Mike and his band', 'Pirettes', two short films, 'Teri and Daniel', and 'Welcome to LA', and a rock opera, 'The Fame Game'.  She is currently working on her third poetry collection.

In 2011, Rachel took the lead role in Matthew Bunkell's short film 'Alice' based on Alice in Wonderland, and in August 2012 she completed work on fantasy short 'Phasers' written and directed by Giles Rockbury.
